Training Academy

ATP Testing
The FoodSafe Group have recently launched a new service aimed at providing leading caterers with the ability to measure the effectiveness of their cleaning/hygiene practices, quickly and cost effectively - throughout their operations. With the current high public profile of food hygiene practices (BBC - Rogue Restaurants and a Dispatches documentary showing poor hygiene practices within a factory) this new service allows caterers to measure compliance against agreed standards, further reassuring customers that employees are well trained and competent in their duties, as well ensuring bacteria is kept within safe limits.
ATP (Adenosine Triphospate) testing is commonly used within manufacturing and essentially measures the cleanliness of equipment which is in constant contact with food. With results available almost immediately (following cleaning) it is a more visual way of demonstrating to employees the need to ensure the correct cleaning agents, contact time, methods and sanitation are deployed.
